First launched in 2014 for a cruise operation, this C-Explorer 3 has conducted numerous dives from different cruise ships.

After the sub’s last season on board in Antarctica, she was put in storage mode and is now ready for a new owner.

The submersible is currently undergoing a comprehensive refit and 10-year classification survey at the U-Boat Worx factory.

Depending on client requirements, the sub can be ready for sea trials in as little as four months, subject to the manufacturer’s workload and any additional upgrades or customisations requested beyond the standard refit scope.

Sea Trials with DNV and U-Boat Worx, as well as operator training will be coordinated with the new owner to ensure a smooth delivery and thorough handover process.
