The Super Yacht Sub 3 is perfectly suited for superyacht operations, allowing either the owner or trained crew members to pilot the submarine with ease.
This particular unit has served aboard two different superyachts and has seen minimal use. It is a first-generation Super Yacht Sub 3, built by U-Boat Worx, and represents the foundation of their renowned luxury submersible line.
Before returning to service, the submarine will require standard maintenance, service, and reclassification. Optional factory upgrades can be installed to bring the vessel up to the latest specifications featured in the current Super Yacht Sub 3 series.

Commissioned in 2018 for a new-build superyacht, the Super Yacht Sub 3 spent several seasons aboard in the Mediterranean Sea.
She was later utilised briefly for training operations in Northern Europe before being returned to the yacht.
After the vessel’s resale and delivery to a new owner in Asia, the submarine has remained unused.
While various inspections have been carried out by the original manufacturer, a comprehensive service and reclassification are required to return the submersible to full certification and operational condition.
The Super Yacht Sub 3’s original classification has expired and will require service and a reclassification survey prior to returning to operational status.
All servicing and reclassification work can be performed by the original manufacturer, U-Boat Worx.
The cost of the service is dependent on the location and scope.
At the buyer’s discretion, the submersible may also be shipped to the U-Boat Worx headquarters in the Netherlands or serviced at another approved facility.
As part of the delivery and recommissioning process, the sub will require a series of test dives and new sea trials.
From the time of purchase, and depending on the agreed scope and location of service and testing, an estimated 4-6 month timeline should be taken into account.
